The world is not enough
I realized that it is often difficult to find intrinsic and extrinsic motivations to pursue my studies passionately. This general rule can be especially applicable in economics. Oh my goodness...God must've invented economics for the more brilliant people; thus people like me (the less smart ones) are not meant to be able to understand the complexities of economics. It baffles me to a point where I often feel frustrated by it. :-)
Back in school...a lot of stuff to catch up on. But I really don't mind any of it.
I wish school would be over now. The last stretch is always the hardest part of the process. Gotta tough it through right until the end and finish strong. Finish strongly.
My current motivation: I believe God's spoken to me about how to go about pursuing my academic studies...
A devotion a while ago talked about responding to God's calling. The act of delaying would only impede my potential to grow closer to God (which He has meant for me to do so) - very much like Moses. Moses continued to deny himself and doubted whether God's got His thinking cap on right in thinking about using a lowly exile like Moses to lead His people into the Promise Land. Moses could've been much more than what he had eventually become - if only he had immediately responded to God's calling.
So...what's my call? Respond...now. There's no time to lose!
Keep studying!!!
